Life before Earth

I stand in the quiet,
Alone.

But I feel him coming.
I begin to run,
As fast as my little legs can carry me.
I can see him now,
as he bends down,
preparing to catch me in his arms,
and lift me to the sky.
His gentle face has a smile.
His warm arms surround me in an embrace.

I'm finally home.
I'm finally safe.
He'll never let go,
He is my protector,
My father,
and he has given me so much,
for which I am eternally grateful.

My joy over whelms me,
As I sit on my Father's lap,
As he sits on the throne.

I am a child of God.
So are you.
And he didn't just do this to me,
He did this for you too.

Phantom tapped his finger on the table in his 'room' impatiently waiting for the Fenton Sample Analyzer to give him the read-out. Betty had said she wanted him to help her retrieve the supplies June had acquired from the warehouse Mr. Spacly put them in. He wanted to get this figured out before he went out on a mission.
Shortly after he had finished overshadowing June he noticed something . . . concerning. He had only seen it a few times before, and it never turned out well. As the machine crunched the numbers the doors swished open.

"Oh great," Phantom mumbled, "distractions."

"Hey! Ghosty!" June called out, "I gotta talk
